New Year, Evolving Needs: Diabetes Care Services for 2026

Diabetes care continues to evolve quickly, and by 2026 many clinicians and organizations are feeling the strain of doing more with fewer resources. Workforce shortages, rapid advances in medications and technology, and growing expectations for outcomes have changed what day-to-day diabetes care looks like.

Over the past year, I have spent time listening closely to patients, clinicians, and care teams, and refining my services to better reflect these realities. My goal is to offer practical, evidence-based support that feels truly helpful in today’s care environment.

My updated services are designed to support clinicians, strengthen programs, and expand access to high-quality, patient-centered diabetes care in 2026 and beyond.

Contract Diabetes Care and Education Services

Healthcare teams are being asked to do more with less, while managing increasingly complex patients. I partner with clinics, health systems, and community organizations to provide flexible, contract-based diabetes care and education that integrates seamlessly into existing workflows. Services are available in-person or virtually and can be scaled based on need.

Referral-Based Diabetes & Nutrition Counseling

I provide individualized, practical diabetes and metabolic health education that reflects real-life use of medications, technology, and nutrition strategies. My approach is evidence-based and focused on improving patient confidence, engagement, and outcomes.

Nutrition is central to my work in both disease management and prevention. I focus on making health information clear, practical, and meaningful, helping patients understand not just what to do, but why it matters.

I have a strong appreciation for traditional foods and cultural foodways, and I work with patients to support metabolic health in ways that honor their culture and lived experience. Refer a patient to me.

Diabetes Technology Training

As CGM and automated insulin delivery systems become standard across more populations, both patients and clinical teams need hands-on, clinically grounded training.

I provide training and support for CGM and AID systems, including Dexcom, Abbott, Tandem, Medtronic, Insulet, and Beta Bionics, for both patients and healthcare professionals.

DSMES Program Accreditation & Support

Accredited DSMES/T programs remain essential for quality care, reimbursement, and program credibility. I support organizations with launching new programs, maintaining accreditation, and staying compliant with evolving standards, allowing teams to focus on patient care while strengthening program sustainability.

Professional Coaching for Clinicians

As diabetes care becomes more specialized, clinicians benefit from targeted professional and clinical coaching rather than one-size-fits-all education. I provide consultative coaching for dietitians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, including CDCES exam preparation and advanced clinical skill development.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists can also earn continuing education credits through structured clinical coaching, making this a practical option for professional growth that may be supported by employer CEU benefits.

Professional Speaking, Writing, and Advisory Services

I work with organizations and companies seeking clinically grounded insight into diabetes care, education, and technology adoption. My speaking, writing, and advisory work emphasizes practical application and clinician education to support meaningful improvements in care delivery.

I offer strategic guidance, expert presentations, media commentary, and consultative services for healthcare professionals and organizations. Please contact me to discuss media requests, speaking engagements, or group education needs.

Looking to the Year Ahead

In 2026, effective diabetes care requires flexibility, technology fluency, and strong clinical partnerships. My goal is to support organizations and clinicians in delivering care that is both accessible and sustainable.

If you are looking to strengthen your diabetes services, support your team, or expand access to high-quality care, I welcome the opportunity to connect. Please reach out to explore collaboration, referrals, or consultative support.
