    GLP-1 medications like Wegovy, Zepbound, and compounded alternatives are increasingly being used to lose the “last 5 to 10 pounds.” But is that goal worth the long-term commitment these medications often require? As a registered dietitian and nutrition expert, I’ve been having more conversations about the tradeoffs, sustainability, and expectations surrounding weight loss medications.
